 Costumes Encouraged
The Maple Grove Community Organization hosted a Family Fun Halloween event in the perfect autumn setting of Weaver Lake Park, 8401 Dunkirk Lane.  Even though the wind was a little incredible, nearly 20 activities offered tricks or treats with Monster Inflatables, Dizzy Mummy, Enchanted Castle, Skarecrow Jump, Witches Ring Toss, Pumpkin Rolling, fishing in the Bottomless Well, and more. Goodie bags were filled with candy and trinkets along with getting creative at the craft table.  Screams abound loud and clear for a howling good time at the Scream Contest. Who has the loudest, scariest scream of all??? And what better way to show off your GREAT costume than at the Hallo-weeny Fashion Show at 1:30.

This family fun event is for children 2-8 and the charge is $5 per child.

Under 2 is free.

There's tricks and treats for all, you can make it a special day by bringing a donation for the CROSS food shelf.

Parking is available on site or overflow parking at Weaver Lake Ball Fields,
17270 - 82nd Avenue No.
