MGCO Partner Organizations

Part of Maple Grove Community Organization's mission is to promote community pride by bringing together citizens and civic organizations. While MGCO is always looking for community members who want to be involved in their community, we would also like to make citizens aware of the other opportunities to be active within Maple Grove. Here is a list of organizations MGCO works with and supports within Maple Grove:

Civic and Community Organizations

The Maple Grove Lions are part of the Lions International, world's largest service organization. The Maple Grove Lions have provided our community with the Lions Pavilion & Playground at the Community Center, emergency defibrillators in Maple Grove Police cars, infrared heat scopes for the Maple Grove Fire Department, holiday baskets for local families, yearly scholarships to local students and much more.

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon

Maple Grove became a nationally recognized

Yellow Ribbon Community in 2013.

A Yellow Ribbon City's purpose is to unite all areas within a community to create a comprehensive network that connects and coordinates resources for the purpose of proactively supporting service members, veterans and military families.
More than 50 community members and leaders contributed to the success of our action plan and Maple Grove's Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Community proclamation.

Bunce Backyard Productions

This Bunce Backyard adventure began in 2007.  They perform as family in a show of their choosing to create community by inviting friends and neighbors — both experienced and new performers — to join the Bunce family.  They continue to  “give back” by encouraging audience members to make donations to charitable organizations (rather than pay admission to the show).  And in all things they want to honor God by their hard work and loving attitudes, bringing glory to Him through good stories and performances.
