Below are additional information to help you when arriving at the line-up area and should help answer any questions you have about the parade.

Thank you for being part of our Maple Grove Days Parade. The parade start time is 6:30 sharp. The following information should help make the event successful for participants and audience alike.
The Parade route is 1.6 miles along 89th Ave. North, a straight roadway with two slight rises. The parade begins at Zackary Lane and ends just west of Elm Creek Boulevard [County Road 130] in Maple Grove.
Line-up time is 5:00 to 6:15 pm
Check-in – Band check in will be on 91st Ave east of Zachary Ln. (see map). Because of parade traffic, the easiest entry to Zachary Ln is from County Road 81 then travel south to 91st Ave. You may also enter from Weaver Lake Road/85th Ave. /Cty. RD. 109. To reach the check in area from I694/94, exit at Hemlock (#28) and travel north on hemlock/Zachary Lane until reaching the parade start. Follow the signs to the band check-in area. Bands will off load in the parking area by the business east of Zachary and south of 91st Ave. (see attached map). Members of the Maple Grove Rotary will be available to direct you to the staging area.
Liability Requirements – Remember before the parade you must have sent in an insurance binder or submitted the online waiver. In addition, if there are any motorized vehicles in your unit, you must provide us the license plate number and the insurance company name and policy number covering the vehicle(s).
Broadcast – The Parade is broadcasted on the local cable channel CCX Media and is also available on their website and YouTube. They broadcast from the intersection at 89th and Pineview.Please do not do a full performance as we need to keep the parade moving. During the whole parade please limit stopping to perform, but instead play as you march to help limit the total parade time.
Inclement Weather –
Light Rain—Parade will go on as scheduled.
Heavy Rain, Lightening/Thunder, Hail—Parade may be delayed or cancelled at the discretion of the Maple Grove Office of Emergency Coordination.
Stipend – Each band will receive a stipend of $1200 for their participation in the parade.
